Early lessons shape how a new driver looks ahead, controls speed and responds to other road users. Our private behind-the-wheel options give families a practical way to plan that training, with room to discuss the learner’s experience and the skills they need next.
What you can work on

Work on observations, intersections, signs, lane position and space around the vehicle. Lessons can focus on the habits a parent has noticed need more practice.
From practice to readiness
Discuss parking, lane changes and road-test skills as the learner progresses. Ask what to focus on between lessons so supervised practice has a clear purpose.

Before you book
Is Driver Education the same as behind-the-wheel training?
No. Driver Education (DE) covers road knowledge; Driver Training (DT) is practical driving instruction. This page is for behind-the-wheel lessons, not an online theory course.
How is a six-hour package scheduled?
California DMV specifies at least six hours of professional behind-the-wheel training and no more than two hours of that training per day. We confirm separate lesson dates with you. See the official DMV training guidance below.
Will completing six hours make my teen ready for the test?
Not automatically. Readiness depends on driving ability, and professional training is only one part of the licensing process. Permit timing, supervised practice and other requirements are separate; review the DMV Teen Driver Roadmap below.
What should a parent tell Yohon before booking?
Share the pickup city, permit status, previous driving practice and preferred times. Mention any skill the learner finds difficult. Please confirm training documents and arrangements before the first lesson.
Can we enquire before choosing a package?
Yes. Choose the closest course option and describe your questions in the optional message. You can receive a reply by email or WhatsApp; sending the form does not require payment.
